     Hi,

In order to get back to official firmware, you need to download a webvert file from DD-WRT’s official website for TP-Link 1043ND. Just upgrade the DD-WRT firmware using that file and you will be reverted to TP-Link 1043ND.

    Hi,

In the router database, the firmware file is only for WR1043ND v1.1/1.4. What if my router’s version is different, let’s say WR1043ND v1.8? Would that file still work to flash my v1.8 router?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I upgraded the router with dd-wrt factory-to-ddwrt downloaded from dd-wrt webpage but after finishing upgrade the 192.168.1.1 IP address is not available anymore. Coulwd you answer what the problem can be.

You need to access the default-gateway of your router. This can not necessarily be 192.168.1.1.

If you are using windows, try running ipconfig command in command prompt and try finding default gateway IP from there.
